Craig Maree’s monster Doggie of a life time.

In the words of Craig himself.. ” Attached see photo’s of a monster Doggie (and your jig) which I was lucky enough to catch in the Seychelles earlier this year on one of your jigs. .

The fish unfortunately fought to the death and we were unable to release it.

We were unable to weigh the fish however it measured just under 1.80m

I lost many fish that morning with the Kevlar assist cords being shredded.

I rigged up chain of Owner split rings with an Owner SJ41 hook.

As you can see your jig was completely mangled (I still have it up in my bar) a small price to pay for such a trophy fish.

The Smiths and van den Bergs recently spend a week camping at Zongoene Lodge in Mozambique. While the camping was great, the ablutions left the ladies grumbling … but the fishing left the guys grinning from ear to ear!
